The special itinerary chosen for the rally (Heroes Legend and also Morocco Legend) allows participants to enjoy the rally at their own pace, at their own skill level and within their own capabilities. It gives riders and drivers of all abilities and ages the chance to enjoy this fantastic rally.

- For the more experienced participants there is the opportunity to ride or drive all the stages. These include technical stages, fast tracks, big dunes and lots of sand. On many occasions you will be following the legendary “Dakar” routes.

- For non experienced pilots participants or those who don’t want the pressure of the race and its obligations in term of regulation, can choose the zones they want to drive according the information given during the daily briefing. The missing zones will be penalized in points but you remain in the race and in the classification.

1st zone is technical, mountains a bit stoney, at km 70 cross the oued…….the second zone is very rolling and fast with navigation and a lot of parallel tracks…..
The third zone is along the dunes that you will have to cross just after the very soft oued….
The start and finish of the 4th zone is located at the bivouac. Nice sandy zone crossing oasis before a fast portion……..

Following the daily briefing and the profile of each zone, you can decide to go directly by the road to the start of the second zone instead of the first one. You can also go to the third one or even zone number 4 which is a loop around the bivouac. You can stop at the bivouac if you don’t want to drive anymore.
You get penalty points for the missing zones.
If you participate with a team, a team mate travelling in your service vehicle can relay (ride) for you in any  part of the stage.

This simple system gives chose to the participants and gives  them the opportunity to drive at their own pace.
