Your safety during the event : Enjoy your participation and the Organisation look after everything else.

A professional team is there to look after your safety every day:
Itinerary chosen in collaboration with local authorities for an optimal security.

• Helicopter,
• 10 doctors,
• 4 medical cars on the itinerary,
• live tracking of each participant by satellite,
• 1 sweep truck and 4 sweep pick up to close each stage and bring back to the bivouac vehicles and pilots in troubles,
• 1 opening car 3 days in advance to check the road book notes.

E-TRACK and your safety For safety, each motorcycle and each assistance vehicle will be equipped with a tracking system, making possible satellite follow-up of all vehicles by the Organisation.   E-track makes possible a reliable follow-up of vehicles in all areas of the world not covered by GSM/GPRS telephone networks and thus ensures the safety of property and persons in areas difficult of access.   E-track makes it possible to transmit qualified information to the race command post in real time. In case of a problem, you can be located and rescued by the Organisation.

The areas of application are the following :

• Triggering or requesting emergency rescue in the event of a serious incident (you or another competitor);
•  Taking account of a situation of distress compromising your progression or your maintenance in a good state of health.

With two possible methods :

• Sending of an alarm to the race command post indicating your GPS position; 
• Automatic: if a brutal shock or a prolonged stop of the vehicle is detected, the system transmits a message from the alarm to the race command post with your GPS position.

The Insurances

Several insurances are subscribed by the Organisation and included in your registration fee:

• Civil Liability Insurance « Organiser »
• Civil Liability Insurance for each registered vehicle for Mauritania and Senegal
• Repatriation Insurance in case of accident
