June 19th - Italy – rally presentation at Limone Piemonte
During the Overland Experience meeting, the organisation will present the rally together with the Italians already registered for the rally.

March 29 - Mauritania - Meeting with the Minister of Tourism of Mauritania
During a meeting in Paris, the Minister of Tourism, happy of the loyalty of the rally to Africa and especially to Mauritania, assured the Heroes Legend organization of his full support and he gave already instruction for all the facilities and means available in order to make of this 5th edition a nice and successful event. THE BUDGET – THE ENTRY FEES CALCULATE YOUR BUDGET
INCLUDED IN THOSE FEES ►The transport of the vehicle from Europe to Morocco and from Dakar to Europe  Boarding in Almeria (Spain) on October 17, Arrival in Nador (Morocco) on the 18 morning. Loading of the vehicle in Dakar on October 31th, arrival in Europe around 15 days later. Customs formalities at departure and arrival organised but the Organisation. Fee for any vehicle up to 5 meters long and 2,20 high. If oversized, add 650€ per meter
►Road book,
►3 meals a day in Africa on the bivouacs, In Africa, the organisation will serve you a breakfast and a dinner including drinks at the bivouac. For the lunch, a lunch pack with mineral water will be available in the morning before the start
  
►Medical assistance during the race and bivouac,  A medical team « Dokever » composed with 10 doctors is there at any moment during the rally in the medical helicopter or in their 4X4 equipped. A “hospital tent” is also in use on each bivouac
►Logistic and safety during the rally,   Dedicated people from the Organisation is there to manage the starts, the finish , the fuel, the bivouac, the transmissions….. Several « sweep vehicles » close the itinerary daily and bring the riders with problems back to the bivouac. 2 « bivouac trucks » to transport your materiall, 1 medical helicopter flying over the itinerary and ready for any rescue mission.
►Repatriation insurance in case of accident or serious illness, The accidents are not just for the others so it’s better to be well insured Several insurances subscribed by the organisation and included in the entry fees.
In case of accident or serious illness during the event, the medical team (helicopter or ambulances 4x4) after diagnostic will organise the transport back to your country by regular or special flight depending of the seriousness of the case.A civil liability insurance guaranties all damages to a third person caused by any participant, responsible or not responsible. A special and compulsory liability insurance (third part) is subscribed to cross Mauritania and Senegal.
►Satellite tracking of each participant , The Etrack transmitts your position to the HQ of the race regularly so that the organisation is able to send a vehicle or the helicopter in case of emergency. This tracking is in24h/24h use.
►During the event, it is possible for family and friends to follow your progress From the site www.heroeslegend.com your family and friends can follow your progress live all day long thanks to your Etrack device.Also available on a dedicated page, the results, press release and pictures every day.
►Formalities of customs and border police in different, When the rally crosses a border, a special team from the organisation is there to take care of the formalities for you. Everything has been prepared in advance. You don’t need any document except the registration document of your vehicle and your passport
►Prize giving ceremony in Dakar,   After the last stage which brings you to the famous Pink Lake in Dakar, a lunch and prize giving.
